| Posted: | | | | ProfilerQuery 4.5.2It was pointed out to me that when a cover image is open in ProfilerQuery, it is locked in DVD Profiler, so you can't update it. I had the same problem in OverviewCheckPlus, and I found a work-around that I applied there. The same work-around has now been applied here to ProfilerQuery. | | | My freeware tools for DVD Profiler users. Gunnar |

| Posted: | | | | ProfilerQuery 4.6.0 Isn't it effin typical? I had the previous two bugs in my todo list for a long time. I was waiting for either someone complaining about them, or for me to come up with something new in ProfilerQuery. And then I got tired of having those bugs staring at me every time I looked at my todo list, so I decided to get them out of the way. And what happened? Just a few days later I was looking at a profile that had a lot of uncredited cast. So I started to wonder just how many profiles I had with that many or more uncredited. And it struck me that I should be able to find that out in ProfilerQuery - but I couldn't. So of course I had to implement that. So now you can check Number of Uncredited in ProfilerQuery. And it seemed logical to also implement Number of Voice and Number of Puppeteers. This whole thing of course lead to more testing, and I found a new bug. So I fixed that as well. When the user double clicks an entry in the result I had used DVD Profiler's window title ("Invelos Software DVD Profiler") to find DVD Profiler and switch to it. The problem with that is that some translations use a different window title, so for those translations this did not work. Now I have changed it so I look up the Profiler window by class name (which is not translatable), so this should now work in all translated Profilers as well. By the way, I just noticed that I misspelled ProfilerQuery in my previous post. And it's too late to fix. How embarrassing... | | | My freeware tools for DVD Profiler users. Gunnar |

| Posted: | | | | By the way, just in case anyone wonders, the highest number of uncredited in my collection is 167 in a Canadian 2 disc DVD of The Wizard of Oz. I'm sure that whoever contributed that profile recognized all those actors and just forgot to mention it. | | | My freeware tools for DVD Profiler users. Gunnar |

| Posted: | | | | ProfilerQuery 4.7.0Minor update: Added the following searchable properties: - Front Cover Height - Front Cover Width - Back Cover Height - Back Cover Width Why? Well, when scanning covers, the covers do not automatically get locked. And I frequently forget to lock them. So I wanted to find which of the covers that I had scanned but forgot to lock. Since I scan in a higher resolution than the online covers (150 dpi vs. 100 dpi), I wanted to select those that were wider than downloaded images. I selected to use front cover width. And it seemed logical that if I added that, I might add the other three measurments as well. Does anyone else need this? I don't know, but I see no reason not to share even minor improvements. | | | My freeware tools for DVD Profiler users. Gunnar |

| Posted: | | | | ProfilerQuery 4.8.0This is an ARU ( Annoyance Reducing Update). The change in 4.7.0 could severely slow down the loading time, especially for large collections. The measuring of cover image height/width can now be turned on or off through the settings: If you turn it off, those values will always read 0. Note that measuring is done during loading, so if you turn it on after you have already loaded a collection, you need to re-load it. You don't have to restart the program. Loading can now be aborted: This is especially useful if you have a large collection and you start loading it with the cover measuring turned on even though you don't need it. Finally, for those who want to use ProfilerQuery without HTTPJolie. Trying to connect to HTTPJolie took quite a long time to timeout, during which ProfilerQuery was unresponsive. I have found a better way to do it that is much faster. | | | My freeware tools for DVD Profiler users. Gunnar | | | Last edited: by GSyren |

| Posted: | | | | ProfilerQuery 4.8.1Corrected how Combo sets are reported: When a profile for the minor media type is not present (i.e. BD profile but no DVD Profile): Flagged as Combo set but not as Boxset parent. Number of boxset children set to 0. When a profile for the minor media type is present: Flagged as both Combo set and Boxset parent. Number of boxset children set to 1 (or higher if there are more than one child profile, but I have never seen that). In addition to this, two minor bugs fixed. | | | My freeware tools for DVD Profiler users. Gunnar |

| Posted: | | | | ProfilerQuery 4.10 Bug fixes:- Fixed a bug that could incorrectly lock the value field in selection. - Context menu item "Enable content wrapping" removed. Does not work with the Syncfusion datagrid. Enhancements:- Added sample selection sets (Tools -> Selection sets -> Load Sample). - Added PurchaseYear to selection and presentation (with ProfilerData.dll 2.8). - Progressbar now shows run progress, useful for slow runs in large collections. - "Copy ID" added to context menu in result. - Logic And/Or saved with selection sets. - "First occurrence only" saved with presentation fields. - Restores Profiler from minimized on double-click. - Loading a selection set switches to Selection tab (if not already there). - Loading a presentation set switches to Presentation tab (if not already there). - Description of ChildOlder in "Check boxset conformity" result (Misc. Queries) added to help file. - Statistics updated to show some missing data. The samples are just a few selection sets that can be used to aquaint yourself with selections in case you are not familiar with ProfilerQuery. You can modify them and save them (in a different directory) if you wish. Please note that selection sets saved in this version will not work in earlier versions of ProfilerQuery. Selection sets from earlier version will load fine in 4.10. | | | My freeware tools for DVD Profiler users. Gunnar |

| Posted: | | | | This is a great tool, it provides many ways of querying the database records in a simple and quick manner.
The number of search variables at my disposal surpasses those found in DVDProfiler and the output presentation results is so easy to configure.
FEEDBACK: • It installed on Win 11 (22H2) (without HTTPJollie) and the help file needed to be unblocked as outlined in your Readme.txt file.
• The only issue I found was "Last Edited" date advanced by one day in the results.
For example, one profile in my collection.xml has: <LastEdited>2023-02-04T19:43:25.000Z</LastEdited>
and in the results (I'm using DD/MM/YYYY format ), it shows up as "5/02/2023", instead of "4/02/2023".
If I switch my PC settings to use (UTC) Co-ordinated Universal Time, the results match the database records, but if I change back to my normal settings (UTC+10) with adjust for daylight saving automatically ON, the results do not match (ahead by one day).
Hope this feedback helps. |

Does that mean either that HTTPJolie doesn't install or doesn't work or prevents PQ from working? Apologies if your have reported the answer already. | | | Thanks for your support. Free Plugins available here. Advanced plugins available here. Hey, new product!!! BDPFrog. |

| Posted: | | | | The LastEdited anomaly seems to be due to a bug in DVD Profiler. When exported, the date is saved in UTC format (even though it is the local date and time), so when it is imported in ProfilerQuery the conversion takes the time difference into consideration, in ObiKen's case adding 10 hours.
There will be a fix for this is the next release of ProfilerQuery. | | | My freeware tools for DVD Profiler users. Gunnar |
