I've been checking this part of the forums probably as much as you and I don't remember being told it was coming out at the end of every month. The problem was a total lack of commitment to ANY date, not that too many were mentioned and passed by.

When we were eventually told that it would be out by the end of October it was a welcome relief to have heard something, the fact that a technical problem cropped up, well s**t happens that you can't always account for and I applaud Ken for the speed at which he got v3.7 beta up and running so that the iPhone/iPad app can be released.

As to this being a program that's been around for years and so should be easy to get up and running, I'm not a computer programmer so stand to be corrected by those with more knowledge, but hasn't Ken had to learn a new programming language to be able to make the app? If so then he's effectively had to start from scratch and kudos to the man for that.

The final comment I have about Ken not being able to commit to a final date is probably because it's not up to him this time round. You have to submit the apps to APPLE for them to approve, all previous incarnations he's not been reliant on anyone else approving, it's just been released through the website. I can threfore understand why Ken won't commit to a date, seeing as he doesn't know what the APPLE folks are going to say, they may ask him to jump through some more hoops which will be out of his control. Grow up, stop chucking your toys out of the pram and go and play with the stupidly expensive car that you were bragging about.

And yes, since this isn't a Positive rant applauding how perfect everything is it likely will get blocked, closed, or moved to some hard to find place in the forums...the ones that said to remove it?

Everyone is so Positive here just like I was...being a Kiss up isn't getting it released any sooner either.

Man, you sure waste a lot of enegy on this. This doesn't strike me as being healthy.

Life's not fair, you can't always get what you want.

For all the smack-talk, I still think you will be one of the first persons to buy it when it comes out.

I understand that frustration can occur in any customer related industry in which the customer feels dissatisfied.

But, how does berating the owner or employee of that business work to the customers advantage?

Anger, frustration and lashing out are not healthy nor do they positively affect the outcome of a situation.

I don't own an iPad and so don't know the answer but if the service is unacceptable, you might want to see if there is something else that will give you what you need temporarily.
