I did neither store Internal nor on External Media card. I stored the database in between, on the Internal Media Card, a 32 GB microSD Class 10.

Performance can be based on a number of variables including what device you're using.  But without knowing specifics of Ken's program, the transfer is doing more than just copying files as it has to also create the database entries and other associated mappings and files.

That's a good point and it makes me wonder if anyone has compared how long it takes to for an initial DVDP transfer to complete on both their Android and Apple devices.  That is, is there a big difference but with that said the DPA app is new so it may take some tweaking to find a happy medium.

This was just a suggestion , wifi connectivity can be an issue especialy where there is poor connectivity. As others have said there are many factores that can impact the performance.
