| Posted: | | | | What I did is make a directory on the HD with the proper paths as I posted earlier.
Then point the plug into that path and let it run, and sync covers, then you can just copy the directory over manually from that point.

| Posted: | | | | I' deone the export again. The only thing its creating is this file "droid_dvdp.db". No "collection.xml" and no other files or directories.
When i copy the "droid_dvdp.db" to the folder on phone and launch the app. it is empty. What do you mean with "sync covers"? Cant find that option. | | | Last edited: by F1Database |

Obvious question, however, when using "Use Removable Drive", there is a "box" off to the right. Did you use this to find X:\droid_dvdp\ on your phone? X being the assigned drive letter. | | | Last edited: by Fingerlakes Dave |

| Posted: | | | | This is the export menu, see what I have circled in red This is how my tablet shows up in windows as a media device. I export to the computer them copy over from there. You do have to move the file droid_dvdp_is_here file to that directory as well. Has worked well, every now and then I have to find a cover that gets missed but over all it isnt too bad. are you not seeing this ? -R | | | Last edited: by RobAGD |

| Posted: | | | | I was also having problems with ICS, so here is a tutorial that worked for me, may help others. This makes it waaayyyyy faster than using the phone as "Device Media".
ICS - Galaxy S II
A) ENABLE USB M MASS STORAGE
1.Settings. 2.Click More… (under Wireless and network). 3.Then select USB utilities ~ Set USB cable connection mode. 4.Select Connect storage to PC then. 5.Connect USB cable from phone to PC. 6.Select Turn on USB storage.
B) OPEN DVD PROFILER ON PC
C) SELECT Plugins>Droid DVD Exporter
D) Select "Device">Use Removable Disk
E) Tick "Copy Database to Device" and "Synchronize Covers"
F) Click "Export Collection"
G) Wait...
DONE
And many thanks to Oliver!!!! | | | Last edited: by MB17 |

| Posted: | | | | OK. If MD17's idea doesn't work, try this to turn the phone into a USB device: (I found on the net, however it's similar to mine)
"... two alternative methods to force the Samsung Galaxy S2(SII) to enter in USB mass storage mode after connecting to computer. Here you go: Method 1 -Enable usb debugging from Menu > Settings > Applications -return to home screen -plug usb cable in -pull down status bar -press ‘ connect usb storage’ button
If that doesn't work:
Method 2 Alternatively, without USB debugging enabled Go to Settings > Wireless & Network > USB utilities and click the button > then (and ONLY then) plug in USB cable
'Best of luck! |

| Posted: | | | | I dont have a problem to to connect my phone. And i can use it as a usb-device, but without a drive-letter.
When i click on on those three dots besides "use removable device" a window opens where i have to select a file called "DROID_DVDP_IS_HERE". If i select my phone and navigate to the destination folder it doesn't change the entry at the plugin and exports to the temporary internet-files. And i cant change to another drive, because there is no file "DROID_DVDP_IS_HERE". | | | Last edited: by F1Database |

| Posted: | | | | What you are seeing it as is a media device.
No Drive letter.
Copy the APK to your /sdcad/download/ then install it then run it.
It will create the directories and the droid_dvd_is_here file.

| Posted: | | | | Deinstalled and deleted all files. Downloaded all new again and installed plugin and app new.
When i connect my phone (The S2 is rrecognized as GT-I9100) with usb-cable i see this in windows: http://s14.directupload.net/file/d/2908/mxsaanwz_jpg.htm
After starting the app it creates these files and directories on the phone: http://s1.directupload.net/file/d/2908/6627e8jd_jpg.htm
When i launch dvdprofiler and select the plugin for export i can navigate to this folder where this file "droid_dvdp_is_here" is. http://s7.directupload.net/file/d/2908/sxlvfyyn_jpg.htm
But when i press öffnen (meens open) the window disappears and the path is not changed and still wants to export to internet-temp-files: http://s1.directupload.net/file/d/2908/sn5t7jyb_jpg.htm
When i then start the export i only get errors: http://s1.directupload.net/file/d/2908/hp9jfdkk_jpg.htm
The Phone is availaible via usb-device and i can copy files but, the plugin cant do it. I think it doesnt work because there is no drive letter. |

| Posted: | | | | the plug in will NOT work with the device as a media storage.
if it can not be directly addressed as a drive not through a sym style link thought the c:/users/ path.
You could do as i listed above, or if you fee like it take the SD card out of the phone and put it in your pc and run via path to it.

| Posted: | | | | F1Database,
If I understand what is happening with you:
- It will not work if you only pug the phone, no matter that it is possible to copy files et al. It has to be plugged as MASS STORAGE.
- If your SGS 2 is still using Gingerbread, do as RobAGD says; if using ICS, as I explained.
If this is not the case, and your phone is already set as Mass Storage, then I don't know how to help you. |
