When deinstalling the CCV plugin, it removes the .mdb file where the awards data is stored. Is this really the case? There is nothing in my setup routine which would do this. As a matter of fact the setup has no idea, where you decide to create this database. Not for me. My .mdb-file has not been removed - and I uninstalled your plugin several times now.

| Posted: | | | | Did I drag the .mdb file with a copy or a move? I do not remember really. It was gone after the deinstall. But OTOH, it is good safekeeping to keep a copy of the file before the whole deinstalling/reinstalling. Of course you can reload from tom's site, but that is lengthy and an unnecessary burden on the site. | | | Eric

Try this, to get Database Query working: 1. Close DVD Profiler 2. Uninstalled CCV plugin 3. Delete 'C:\Users\_USERNAME_\AppData\Local\Invelos_Software\DefaultDomain_Path_bwzoa00annodz3heyvrsayhzkmittcjl\1.0.0.0\user.config' 4. Install Database Query plugin 5. Run & close DVD Profiler 6. Reinstall CCV plugin 7. Run DVD Profiler
This worked for me. (I guess step 3 is unnecessary, but I'm not sure.) That did it! Thank you VERY much. Greenie on it's way |

| Posted: | | | | Since I now know that any activity on my computer while DVD Profiler is opening causes DVDP to open 3/4 screen (from this thread), I decided (out of curiosity and because I find Database Query extremely useful) to try installing DBQ again. This time I installed it, rebooted, cleaned up junk files, did a db repair, cleaned up again, defragmented the PC, rebooted, then brought up DVDP. It gave me that same 3/4-screen blank flash then opened 3/4 screen. Stretched the sides back out to full screen, clicked File, Exit, restarted the computer, waited till everything finished loading, then opened DVDP, again it loaded 3/4 screen after the blank flash. Uninstalled Database Query and everything's fine again. I suspect it might be the way in which DVDP loads plug-ins but that's only a guess. I anticipate the arrival of your new version to try out and see if that issue gets resolved. | | | Time is the fire in which we burn. (Soran) |

| Posted: | | | | Can you post a screenshot? I'm not clear what you mean by 3/4 screen. | | | Get the CSVExport and Database Query plug-ins here. Create fake parent profiles to organize your collection. |

| Posted: | | | | Maybe I'm missing something here but why don't you just click maximize button on DVDP top right corner if you want it maximized? Or if you have Windows 7 or 8 just use windows + arrow up keys. It takes about 0.2 seconds. | | | Last edited: by Kulju |

cya, Mithi Yes, a plugin has access to a boolean flag, which tells you if contributable changes have been made. It can also change this flag.

Yes, I know that I can simply hit the Maximize button each time I bring up DVD Profiler, but why should I have to? That's the question/issue I'm trying to get resolved. | | | Time is the fire in which we burn. (Soran) |

Here's something to check, I have had this happen before. The numbers are just an example. If you have your desktop set to 1280 and you have a screen saver that is set to 1050, as long as the screen saver never kicks in, all will stay maximized. Once you have a program launched and maximized to 1280 and the screen saver kicks in, it will resize some or all of your programs to the screen saver resolution. You can also try right clicking on the program in the start menu and telling it to run maximized which should then always launch it maximized. If any of this has been said before, I didn't see them. Just something to try. | | | Marty - Registered July 10, 2004, User since 2002. |

| Posted: | | | | I appreciate the thought mreeder but I don't use a screensaver or any Power Options other than 'Always On'. When I'm not using my computer I either shut the monitor off or shut the computer down if I'm going to be away for more than a few hours and/or when I go to bed. | | | Time is the fire in which we burn. | Posted: | | | | Is there any way to make it show Cast with only 1 entry in the Top X? Simple Statistics did that but I recently had to reinstall the program on a new computer and Simple Statistics can't be dowloaded anymore.
Right now Database Quarry stops at 2. |

| Posted: | | | | Mark, how are you coming along with the new version of Database Query? I recently had to completely uninstall and reinstall DVD Profiler, now opens maximized every time, I just left it like that instead of stretching the sides to fit and choosing Exit to save. Since DVDP was now opening maximized every time, I thought I would try installing Database Query again. Now, every time I open DVD Profiler, I get a full screen flash of white before DVDP comes up, just like I was getting the 3/4 screen flash of white before DVDP opened 3/4 size, only now it's full screen. I'm debating on uninstalling Database Query again, in hopes you'll have the new version finished sometime soon because I can't help but think tha's not supposed to happen. I have no idea what's causing that behavior, only that it happens. | | | Time is the fire in which we burn. (Soran) | | | Last edited: by kd5 |
