| Posted: | | | | Unfortunately I have the same problems with 2.1.9.6 as 2.1.9.5. I see no program/gui at all. When I start it with the forceoldbrowser parameter it runs fine.
Is it maybe some pre-requesites I'm missing that is needed ? I do have the latest VCredist installed and latest .dotnet 4.8 patches. I also only have one monitor, so It's not some weird multi-monitor bug where a program runs outside the obvervable desktop area.
When I have time I can run sysinternals processmonitor to see If I can find out what happens, and maybe DependencyWalker. |

| Posted: | | | | Firs off, many thanks to Kishiro for his patience and his testing. Unfortunately I can't seem to get it to work (again) on his computer.
So now I've implemented a switch that allows you to choose your browser plugin - whatever works on your machine:
/browser=ie6 uses the old Internet Explorer 6 browser, IMDb will look crappy but still usable for CCE2's needs
/browser=webview new default browser, based on Microsoft Edge
/browser=webviewcompatible new default browser with backwards compatibility
/browser=webview2 experimental new version, based on Chromium
Available with new version 2.1.9.7 | | | Karsten DVD Collectors Online

| Posted: | | | | What's the DJ Doena equivalent of "Zombie, Zombie, Zombie"? Is it "Nog, Nog, Nog"? (Those who have been with us a long time will hopefully understand) | | | My freeware tools for DVD Profiler users. Gunnar |

| Posted: | | | | Okay, it appears as if I requested too many pages at too fast a speed and they figured "hey, that can't be a human". So they put a pin in it.
I'll build something in that will slow down requests when this error appears because after a few seconds, it'll work again. | | | Karsten DVD Collectors Online

| Posted: | | | | can you start the program with the switch /debug and then when the error comes check you folder for an "errors" sub-folder and send that file to [email protected] ? | | | Karsten DVD Collectors Online

I'll do that when I get home this afternoon. Thanks! [edit] I was able to run it remotely, so the file has been sent... | | | Last edited: by Medieval Guy |
