Thanks a million, Lars! Working perfectly with my collection. You do have to follow the instructions to the letter. And the download took hours, but it works! | | | Hal |

| Posted: | | | | Hi
I recently installed Windows 8 Release Preview and cannot get WP7 to see my collection. I'm unsure if I had it working under Windows 8 Consumer Preview but suspect I had (can't imaging not using WinProfiler since February)
Restifer plug-in is installed and running on my pc, I just don't seen to get it to work properly. no web browser on my network see's the address. |

| Posted: | | | | Installed yesterday. I did struggle a little with the installation, but everyone's notes and comments were very helpful. No more trying to bring up my wishlist through the browser on my phone. Love the application. The biggest hurdle was getting my Norton firewall configured. |

| Posted: | | | | All those experiencing problems, please re-check your firewall rules, somehow I didn't apply mine correctly. Refer to the Restifier readme file:
Using Restifier •Select "Restifier" in the "Plugins" menu of DVD Profiler •The the dialog, verify the Port and Virtual Directory settings are as you want them. ?Port: It is recommended to leave this at port 80. You do not need to change the port even if you have Internet Information Server (IIS) already running on Port 80. ?Virtual Directory: If you do not host any other content on the specified port, you can leave this empty.
•Read the license agreement (the condition for using this plugin is the same as the condition for using the XML export). •Select Accept license and start •Click OK •Allow access through your firewall ?Windows Firewall on Windows 7 1.Select Control Panel/System and Security/Windows Firewall 2.Select "Advanced settings" 3.Select "Inbound rules" 4.Select "New rule..." 5.Rule Type: Port 6.Protocls and Ports: TCP, the port you specified (see the "Using Restifier section") 7.Action: Allow the connection 8.Profile: Set any you like (typically all or "Private") 9.Name: Anything you like, for example "DVD Profiler Restifier"
?If you use any other firewall, please refer to your Firewall documentation for details on how to allow access to port you selected when installing. |

| Posted: | | | | I've been trying to get this working but have problems with Restifier. After installing the plugin and trying to start it I get this: I have a Finnish version of 64-bit WIN 7. The Finnish text in the error message translates in English: "Coud not load file or assembly ... or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified." What might be the the problem? | | | Markku |

| Posted: | | | | Have you tried the instructions here (http://moellebjerg.com/DVDProfilerPlugins/Restifier.html) to see if Restifier is running? Otherwise I can't think of an answer. Maybe the developer will see your post and offer some help. |

| Posted: | | | | Looks like I have also problems with my website, as the image in my previous post doesn't show anymore. The error message I get is as follows:
"Restifier Error
Failed to start the service: Could not load file or assembly System, Version=4.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b77a5c561934e089. The system cannot find the file specified. See the log for further details."
I'm following the instructions in Imoelleb's site and get this error message after accepting the license and hitting OK to start. Hitting the Display Log button shows this: "<the log is empty>". | | | Markku | | | Last edited: by Pistol Pete |
