Useless whilst not displayed.

Besides choosing "Neutral ?" is abstention from voting.

I believe he wants to make the neutral vote an actual vote. Which I am fine with... but if it is done I think we would need a 4th choice to do what neutral does now... hide it from my unvoted list. Just It isn't necessarily a reason for it to be displayed. I may just not want to vote on a particular item. And to me a neutral vote is voting that either way is ok with me... which isn't necessarily what I would have in mind.

With Ken  working on the online listing... I thought it would be a good time to bring this back as well. Maybe he can do something here as well...

I was thinking on the database page where you vote... it would be a good thing to be able to check off a list of contributions and be able to vote neutral for whatever reason you may not want to vote on a list of contributions.

I recently came up with a case where there was several contributions on a single page that were all on my wishlist. Since unless it is completely obvious I do not like to vote on items from my wishlist... it would be cool to check off all those items with the ability to vote neutral to them.

I personally don't see a need for a yes or no vote button on these pages as to vote yes or no you need to at the very least look at each contribution... but if you know you are going to vote neutral I think it could be very handy.

Any thoughts?

While I agree that a checkbox to exclude wishlist profiles would be good... and would cut it down quite a bit. I do see reason to have the ability on all profiles. Like for example I don't like to vote on crew only submissions since it is not something I know enough about or care enough about. Then there is stuff like when new fields are added to profiler and we don't want to deal with all the single field updates such as when the CoO was first added. This way we can take a quick peek at the notes and then check them off if we wish.

I just voted neutral to a whole list of TV series... on every single disc and parent profile for many seasons (9 seasons). It would have been so much easier if I could have checked off boxes (or optionally a check all box if there was nothing else in that list) and then click neutral.

Since Ken has shown some life and gave us THIS I thought I would bring this different but similar topic back.

I really see several reasons to want to vote neutral to several contributions on a page... a few off the top of my head would be...

1. Some of us don't like to vote on Wish List contributions
2. Some of us don't bother to vote on crew only contributions (or whatever field they do not like)
3. Some of us may not want to bother with Birth Year only contributions

So give us an easy way to know all these off my list at once.

I still don't see a reason to do this for Yes votes or No votes (which needs a mandatory reason anyway)... but for neutral votes I still believe this would be a good thing.
