| Posted: | | | | During the website update on Thursday my profile update for the Umbrella Entertainment release of Weird: The Al Yankovic Story 4K was approved and released. Last night I refreshed my database to get any updates and my changes to the profile were reset to before I updated Weird: The Al Yankovic Story. I might try to update the profile again in a few days just in case there was a system glitch, but this was a bit annoying. | | | We're on a mission from God.

It's likely lost so I just recontributed. Contributions approved on Wednesday appear to be in the online database. |

| Posted: | | | | I seem to have a similar issue. Several updates seem to have been skipped, but if I try and re-contribute them, it says there are no changes to the online version. So, HAVE they been skipped or already approved? I guess I will find out tomorrow... |

Also in DVD Prodfiler it says there is an update but when comparing the changes they're the exact same old information prior to my contribution. |

| Posted: | | | | I have an update. The conbtributed changes I made DO seem to have gone through, however, the contributions have not been officially approved and/or released ... and can still be voted on!
There's definitely something "screwy" going on here.
The affected Profiles are my changes to various copies of Changing Lanes regarding common names for Jennifer Dundas and Shabazz Ray. | | | Last edited: by GreyHulk |

| Posted: | | | | Guys the website server apparently crashed. It was restored from whatever point in time the backup was. Nothing mystical. Just be glad it wasn't worse. Whomever is watching will definitely benefit from your detailed descriptions of what is messed up, so keep it coming, but also keep in perspective what likely happened. FYI there is a new plugin out there DVDPFauxAPI and a companion sub-plugin CommandOnEvent that can be easily setup to keep a running log of each time a profile is refreshed from the online or edited locally. I can probably figure out a way to save the corresponding copies of the profile if you want me to try that. | | | Thanks for your support. Free Plugins available here. | Posted: | | | | However, this does seem to be an ongoing issue. I've had another three profiles skipped from yesterday's approvals. Again, no reason. In fact, it means some of the box set I have corrected is approved and released, some of it is doing nothing. I now have to recontribute. Again. That's the second time since the "crash" was resolved.
We're well past the 7th of May and it is still happening. | | | Last edited: by GreyHulk |

| Posted: | | | | Some of them take a while, but if you wait, they get there. You do not need to recontribute. | | | Marty - Registered July 10, 2004, User since 2002. |

| Posted: | | | | That's precisely the reason I have recontributed. When they get "skipped" at the moment, they seem to sit there for several weeks. |
