| Posted: | | | | My DVDProfiler Mobile on my Windows phone no longer works. When I try to run the program from my phone I get the following error (when I expand the details):
DVD Profiler Mobile.exe TypeLoadException
at DVD_Profiler_Mobile:frmStartup.ctor() DVD_Profiler_Mobile:frmStartup.Main()
I searched the database for this and found no mention.
Has anyone else experienced this issue? Does anyone know how to resolve this?
Thanks,

| Posted: | | | | Hi. What WM OS are you running? That always helps. And is the database on an SD card, or main memory? What is your level of expertise with windows Mobile? |

I'm running Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional. I have been for some time. The only thing that has changed was the PC that my Main program was housed on. That I upgraded from Windows 7 Home Premium Upgrade to a new PC with Windows 7 Ultimate.
My expertise with WinMoble 6.1 is that I have been using it for a couple of years at least. I've never really dug into the code.
I was considering reinstalling DVDProfiler Mobile on my PC and re-sync-ing it to my Phone... any ideas though?
Thanks,

~Dickson Young Skywalker Hello again! Personally I would uninstall the mobile DVDProfiler, reboot the phone, then re-install. Depending on where your database files are stored (phone or SD card), be very careful *NOT* to uninstall the database files. (Easiest is pull the SD card, if you can get to easy, then uninstall and reboot). I would reinstall, enter the registration code, then install the SD card. Seems like a lot. It should be 1/2 to 3/4 hour tops. If WM6 won't let you uninstall without the SD card in, and it wants to wipe all databases (sorry, it's been awhile), take the SD card out and copy the correct folders to your desktop. That way you can copy back later. Let me know how you make out! |
