Database seems to update ok over wi-fi mobile to PC total of dvds is correct but I can't open the database. Tapping  on any of the options in DVD profiler window causes the app to stop. Also, this window doesn't slide completely over to reveal the full collection window but I can get charts and browse the collection but trying to select further causes a close. Have re-installed the app 3 times. Have installed database on memory and then on SD card. Profiler on PC shows 1 connection on starting app, then becomes 2 when updating.
App 1.1  Android 4..1.2  PC Profiler 3.8.2  Help...... I love the PC database and am really frustrated that I can't get the app to work!

Can you post pics of what you're seeing?  Have you tried a database repair in DVD Profiler for PC?

Have done database repair and tried an update - no luck! Tried another re-install of app but still original problem except whereas before I would get the loading results animation moving - now it doesn't move then a few seconds later the app stops.
Screenshot is of Colllection screen with Profiler screen's failure to completely slide across.

What happens if you create a new database (either local or DVD Profiler Online; not DVD Profiler for PC).  Do you get the same behavior?

Created an online database and it's all pukka now. Many thanks for your help. I assume the part reveal of the collection screen (previous screen shot) may actually be part of the app unless it looks different on yours. once again, thanks for getting me up and running.

Thanks - Now I'm all sorted. It's the first time I've ever used this forum - the contributors have been great.

The menu not sliding all the way to the right is by design.  However, the Collection should slide all the way to the left and if that isn't happening then that isn't by design.

If the DVD Profiler Online database is working then something may be messed up with your database on your PC.  You could try copying your current PC database to a new database on your PC to see if that resolves the issue.  I read on these forums of another member having a specific issue and a database repair didn't fix the problem.  However, restoring a backup to a new database seemed to fix the underlying issue.
