| Posted: | | | | Backup one of your databases by using the File -> Backup Databases ... menu option. Then open your second database (File -> Open Database). Make sure you also have a backup of your second database in case something goes wrong.
Once the second database is opened, restore the backup from the first database; File -> Restore Database ...
From the Profile Database Restore window, select the backup file from the first database and click the Next button. Select the Restore Specific Profiles option and click the Select All button. Uncheck the Replace full user database option. From here you can finish selecting the additional options you want to restore. Once you're ready, click the OK button and the profiles will be merged into the opened database. | | | Last edited: by rdodolak |

In addition to what rdodolak already wrote: "It might be a good idea to tag the items of the individual databases beforehand, so you can later see which profile came from which database. Also be aware that DVD Profiler identifies the profiles by a combination of UPC/EAN and locality and only one such profile can exist in a single database. If more than one of the source databases contain the same profile, the last profile restored will overwrite the other. To find such possible conflicts, you can use the plugin Compare DVD Profiler Databases" Source: Merging Databases | | | Mithi's little XSLT tinkering - the power of XML --- DVD-Profiler Mini-Wiki |
