| Posted: | | | | Hello. I am trying to get a printable report of my movie collection. All of the "help" says to go to Tools and Reports. The only Tools I see is on the app. And when I click on there reports is not an option. I see users, fitter sets and about dvd profiler. I don't see a tools option on the website. So what am I missing? And yes, I do have the upgraded registration.
Thanks! |

| Posted: | | | | So I have no ability to make reports unless I am a windows user? I am a mac user and have no access to a windows computer. The ONLY reason I upgraded to get the registration was so that i could have an easy to read/printable copy of my 850 movie library database. Please tell me that I did not just completely WASTE $15 on a feature I have no access to! |

| Posted: | | | | What "Taskbar"? I do not have windows as previously mentioned. I have a Mac. There are links across the top that read: home, products, downloads, registration, forums, support, database, my profiler, gift. THAT'S IT! I am generally quite tech savvy and am completely frustrated by the lack of user intuitiveness and assistance for (what i am assuming is only) mac users. For $15 I should get the same perks and abilities as anyone with windows or it should be CLEARLY advertised that a mac user will not get the same services. |

| Posted: | | | | The home page of this website advertises DVD Profiler for Windows, for iPhone/iPad, and for Android. I don't know where you could have got the idea there was a Mac version.

| Posted: | | | | iPhone/iPad are MAC products. I assumed (apparently a stupid mistake) that if something was available for the windows version that it would also be available for the other advertised versions of their product. Anytime I would try to "download" my library catalog it would tell me that I needed to upgrade in order to do so. I did all of this while on one of my 3 mac products (iPhone, iPad and laptop) and at no time while searching the site did it do anything say anything about not being able to utilize all of these capabilities from the MAC products i was using! A website should not tell a user to upgrade to a pay for product if that product is not able to be used by the technology that is accessing it! I am sure you think this is my "fault" but after logging out and using my dads free account from my mac I also had the same outcome. It may not say MAC users but when it makes an offer of upgrade it is implying that I will be able to get what I am looking for once that is completed. It does not, and I consider that to be false/poor advertising. |

| Posted: | | | | Yes, that was a bad assumption. DVD Profiler for iOS is a mobile app, as is the Android app, and doesn't contain the full blown features of DVD Profiler for Windows. In fact, a lot of software typically supports more "features" in the Windows version compared to an OS X version (assuming both platforms are supported).
How are you trying to download your catalog from the iOS app? |

| Posted: | | | | you can't download your catalog from the iOS app. you can't do ANYTHING except look at your catalog on the iOS app. I love having all of my movies in this database but a previous app i was using allowed me to email myself a copy of the list so i could share it with others or print out a copy for my storage containers. I am just disappointed at the lack of capabilities in this app as well as (what i consider to be) false advertising on the websites part. Don't tell someone to upgrade in order to utilize the feature they need if that feature isn't available for the platform that they are accessing the information on. $15 is a lot of money to pay for something I can't use. |

| Posted: | | | | It's not clear what you meant by "Anytime I would try to "download" my library catalog it would tell me that I needed to upgrade in order to do so." It might not be perfect but you could share your collection with others by giving them this link: http://www.invelos.com/dvdcollection.aspx/Mommahyena |

| Posted: | | | | Thank you. That will work for the time being. What I was referring to was when I signed into my account and clicked on my username in the top right corner. I would scroll to the bottom where it says "view collection now" which i (correctly) assumed would show me the complete list of my library in some format or order. (I apologize if the word download was misleading- when trying to view info like this it often goes into the download file on my mac). When I clicked on "view collection now" it would bring me to a page that would say i did not have access to this feature and that if i wished to have access i should "buy now". I find that misleading as I was accessing this information from my laptop which is a mac, and quite obviously, this feature is not available for it despite that the page stated that to access that feature i would have to upgrade. As I implied, I am sure I sound like a whiny idiot, but as a fairly intelligent and well-read individual I get easily annoyed by information that I find to be misleading or inaccurate. I work in hospitality for a very large company and if one of my guests had brought this misrepresentation to my attention I would have refunded their money and found a way to correct the situation. Alas, my standards are high because I believe that all companies should strive for excellence dint he quality of their products as well as the integrity of their business, but I am off topic, most likely due to the late hour and lack of sleep. My apologies. |
