All of a sudden I'm having difficulty adding profiles to my local database if I'm not hooked up to the internet.

If I am not hooked up to the internet I can't add anything and after I click on the windows the program just hangs.

First I get the Internet Database Connection window with a smaller inside window saying that it's Connecting to Invelos Software.

I click on Cancel and a smaller pop window pops up behind that. I move it up and it says Unexpected end of file and OK.
I click on OK and another window says Information Connection aborted. and an OK button.
I click on OK and nothing happens. I can't even click on any of the options on the toolbar.

The only way to close the program is through the Task Manager.

If I'm hooked up to the net it works as usual.

I've tried a database repair, rebooted the computer and the same thing happens.

Before today I could add profiles to my database whether or not I was hooked up to the net.

Any ideas?

Make sure you don't have the "Download profile from Invelos" box checked on the "Add DVD to Collection" window.

Well after a few hours that day what I had to do was back up everything, uninstall the program and reinstall it and then restore.

Now it works like before.

No idea what caused it, but my computer is over 7 years old. Perhaps it's getting cranky.
