I recognized this a while ago and it might only be a little change as it partially works!
Usually the proram takes away the article for the field "sort title", but this happens only for 2 of 3 (der & das) in german language, but not for the 3rd one "die"
I hope this change doesn't cause too much work

It will also not show when you choose the "append article" option in the display settings.

The reason for this is that the German article "die" is also an English verb "sterben" and that's why it was left out of the official article recognition.

You still can give all your profiles the appropriate sort title though:
"Die Blechtrommel" -> "Blechtrommel" or "Blechtrommel, Die"
"Die sieben Samurai" -> "Sieben Samurai, Die" or "0000007 Samurai, Die"

The sort title is a personal and local field and won't be overwritten by other contributions.
